The event

Secrets of Summer NYE 2026 takes place on 31 December 2026 at Black River Park Sports Complex, Fir Street, Observatory, Cape Town 7925. Doors open at 15:00 and the event runs until 03:30 on 1 January 2027.

Age restriction

Strictly no under 18s. A valid ID document or passport is checked at the gate, every time, without exception. Anyone who cannot produce valid identification will not be admitted and will not receive a refund.

Tickets and payment

Tickets are sold and processed by Quicket. Your purchase is a contract with Quicket as the ticketing agent, and Quicket’s own terms govern payment and delivery alongside these. We never receive or store your card details.

• Prices move upward as each phase sells out and do not come back down. The price shown on this site is read live from the box office.
• A booking fee is added per ticket and is shown next to every price before you buy.
• Some phases are sold in pairs. Where that applies it is stated on the ticket before you add it to your order.
• Your ticket is only valid if it was bought through Quicket or through this site. Tickets bought from any other source may be refused at the gate.

Add ons

The unlimited open bar pass is valid from 19:00 to 23:30 and is strictly limited to 500 passes for the whole event. It is an add on to a valid entry ticket, not an entry ticket on its own.

Private tables are sold per seat with a minimum booking and are arranged directly rather than through the checkout.

Refunds and transfers

All ticket sales are final and refunds are not permitted. If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to sell or gift your ticket to someone else. Every barcode scans once, so the person who arrives with it is the person who gets in, subject to the age and identification clause above.

Admission

• Right of admission reserved.
• Once you leave the event you cannot come back in. Exceptions are made only with the approval of festival security on the day.
• The lineup, running order and production are subject to change. A change of artist is not grounds for a refund.
• On site medical, trained security and crowd management operate throughout, and their instructions must be followed. You can be refused entry or removed, without a refund, for behaviour that puts you or anyone else at risk.

Filming and photography

The event is filmed and photographed throughout. By entering you agree that footage and photographs taken there, which may include you, can be used to promote Secrets of Summer.

Card payments on site

Every bar and food vendor accepts card. You do not need to draw cash before you arrive.
