What time does it start and end?
Doors open at 15:00 on 31 December 2026 and the event runs until 03:30 on 1 January 2027.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. Strictly no under 18s. Bring a valid ID or passport, you will be asked for it at the gate.
Where exactly is it?
Black River Park Sports Complex, Fir Street, Observatory, Cape Town, opposite Riverlands Mall. Roughly five minutes from the CBD.
Can I leave and come back?
No. Once you leave you cannot come back in. Exceptions are made only with approval from festival security on the day.
How do I get home at 3am?
There is a dedicated Uber drop off and pick up point, plus ample parking on site. Plan your ride before you arrive, demand spikes right after midnight.
New Year’s Eve happens once. Do not spend it somewhere ordinary.
